Parent Notification Letter about NECSD National School Lunch and Breakfast Program

Dear Parent or Guardian:

We are pleased to inform you that the Newburgh Enlarged City School District will be implementing a meal certification option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for the 2017-2018 school year.

What does this mean for your child(ren) attending the school(s) identified above?
All students enrolled in Newburgh Enlarged City School District school buildings are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2017-2018 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.

¿Qué significa esto para sus hijos que asisten a las escuelas identificadas arriba?
Todos los estudiantes matriculados en las escuelas del Distrito Escolar Extendido de la Ciudad de Newburgh son elegibles para recibir desayuno y almuerzo en la escuela sin costo alguno para su familia cada día del año escolar 2017-2018. No se requiere ninguna acción adicional de usted. Sus hijos podrán participar en estos programas de
