Temple Hill Academy Scholars Enjoy Parade and Pumpkin Patch
Temple Hill Academy scholars enjoyed a parade and pumpkin patch to celebrate the fall season this week! Scholars had the opportunity to dress up and show off their spirit and then pick their very own pumpkin out of the pumpkin patch! Scholars decorated their pumpkins after returning to class. Parades and pumpkin picking occurred on Tuesday (10/27) for our Blue cohort students and on Friday (10/30) for our Gold cohort students; in addition, pumpkins were available for parent pick-up for our K-2 virtual students so that they could also partake in the pumpkin decorating festivities.
Teachers, administrators and staff dressed up and worked collaboratively to create a wonderful Autumn setting and activity, which our students will not forget.
Pumpkins were donated by Price Chopper and ShopRite of Newburgh and purchased at a discounted rate at Dykeman Farm. Thank you to everyone for creating a special event for our scholars!
All photos from the event can be found here.
