The Heritage Middle School Band finished up a very busy year in spectacular fashion:
On Sunday, May 21, the Band marched in the Annual New Windsor Memorial Day Parade . The band numbering about 70 strong, marched in unison, performing their music splendidly.
On Friday May 26th, both the 6th and 7/8th grade Band performed before a panel of judges at the Boyertown High School in Pennsylvania. Both bands received a rating of EXCELLENT from the judges. Afterwards, the Band students spent the rest of the day at nearby Dorney Park.
On Sunday May 28th, the Band once again demonstrated their marching excellence by performing in the annual Town of Newburgh Memorial Day Parade to a large and supportive crowd.
Mr. Aulogia would like to thank the HMS administration, faculty, and staff for all their support this year. He is also appreciative to the HMS PTO for their assistance throughout the year. Mr. Aulogia is also grateful to the Department of Curriculum and Instruction and Department of Finance for assisting the Band to get to Dorney Park.
