New Windsor School Student Belongings Pick-up Schedule and Safety Guidelines

Dear New Windsor School Community,

On Monday, June 8, the New Windsor School Faculty and Staff will be distributing the personal belongings of the students. It is imperative that all of the families follow the distribution schedule and safety expectations noted below. Do not forget to return your library books on Monday, June 8. 

 Thank you for your patience, understanding and  support as we navigate these unprecedented challenges. If you have questions, please call the school at (845) 563-3700 and leave a detailed message. An office staff member will return your call within 24 hours. You may also  contact me via email at dcamt@necsd.net. In the meantime, be safe and stay strong!

Curbside Pickup ONLY. 

• Student bagged items will be handed to the driver or a passenger through the window.

• Display the child's first & last name & teacher name on the vehicle’s front and rear passenger window. Written clearly and large enough to be read from outside the car. 

• Adherence to Social Distancing will be strictly enforced. Parents/students must wear masks & gloves for safety purposes.

• No one can step out of the vehicle during the pickup.

• The vehicle must leave the premise immediately after the pickup. NO EXCEPTIONS!

• If student items are not picked up, it will be stored at the school until Sept.

Estimada comunidad escolar de New Windsor:

El lunes 8 de junio, la facultad y el personal de la escuela New Windsor distribuirán las pertenencias personales de los estudiantes. Es imperativo que todas las familias sigan el cronograma de distribución y las expectativas de seguridad que se detallan a continuación. No olvide devolver sus libros de la biblioteca el lunes 8 de junio.

 Gracias por su paciencia, comprensión y apoyo mientras navegamos por estos desafíos sin precedentes. Si tiene preguntas, llame a la escuela al (845) 563-3700 y deje un mensaje detallado. Un miembro del personal de la oficina le devolverá la llamada dentro de las 24 horas. También puede contactarme por correo electrónico a dcamt@necsd.net. Mientras tanto, ¡mantente a salvo y mantente fuerte!

Recogida en la acera SOLAMENTE.

• Los artículos empacados de los estudiantes serán entregados al conductor o un pasajero a través de la ventana.

• Muestre el nombre y apellido del niño y el nombre del maestro en la ventana del pasajero delantero y trasero del vehículo. Escrito claramente y lo suficientemente grande como para ser leído desde afuera del automóvil.

• La adherencia a la distancia social se aplicará estrictamente. Los padres / estudiantes deben usar máscaras y guantes por razones de seguridad.

• Nadie puede salir del vehículo durante la recogida.

• El vehículo debe abandonar la premisa inmediatamente después de la recolección. ¡SIN EXCEPCIONES!

• Si los artículos de los estudiantes no se recogen, se guardarán en la escuela hasta el septiembre.
