Visual Communication and Design Scholars Create Posters to Educate Peers
Mr. Gebhardt's Visual Communication and Design classes began designing educational signs prior to school closures earlier this March. The posters were created by the high school scholars, intended to educate their peers throughout the district about the importance of proper hygiene and prevention of the novel coronavirus. To better understand the educational elements, Ms. Sharon Patsalos, School Nurse for NFA Main presented information about prevention to the scholars. Ms. Judy LeRoy School Nurse teacher/Health Service Facilitator also joined the class to see how their posters were coming along. The idea was to have these student created posters throughout the school district. The Visual Communications and Design courses as well as the Fullertown Crew have a long history of using their talents to create materials that will help educate and/or support their community.
