Scholars Perform in Annual Superintendent's Celebration of the Arts
On February 26, 2020, scholars throughout the district were invited to celebrate the Superintendent's Celebration of the Arts. The annual event rotates it's focus on various arts programs throughout the district. This year, the theme was Theatre. The evening began with a video message from Dr. Padilla and a greeting from Ms. Lynda Keech, Director of Fine and Performing Arts.

Performances included a scene or two from a prior or upcoming performance (upcoming performances may have been postponed and/or cancelled due to the executive order to close schools during the COVID-19 outbreak):
- A selection from Beanie and the Bamboozling Book Machine -- a comedic fantasy play performed at South Middle School, under the direction of Mrs.Caroline Curtis
- "Aunt Rhodie's Appetite," performed by actors and members of the orchestra from New Windsor Elementary School, under the direction of Ms. Karen Sheehy, Mrs. Mery Petruncola. - A selection from Radium Girls, NFA Spring Drama Production, under the direction of Mrs. Fay Gerbes-Pacht - Selections from NFA's musical production of In The Heights, NFA Spring musical, under the direction of Mrs. Mandy Clifford
This year's event was coordinated by Mrs. Fay Gerbes-Pacht.
