NFA West participates in Meadow Hill School's Annual Reading Retreat
NFA West Scholars were invited to participate in Meadow Hill School's annual "Reading Retreat." Meadow Hill students had an opportunity to create a journal project made out of cereal boxes, receive free books to read in class and engage in reading and creativity projects throughout the day. The supplies for the event were donated by Meadow Hill's PTO and families. NFA West Scholars participated in this great initiative by being the "mystery readers" for the day. NFA West scholars read books to students in grades K-5. It was a fun filled day with reading and creativity.
Story and photos provided by Ms. Lakeya Stukes, guidance counselor for NFA West.
