Meadow Hill Holds Annual Reading Retreat
On Thursday, February 20, Meadow Hill School held its annual Reading Retreat. This year’s theme for the Reading Retreat was “Being Creative.” The purpose of the Reading Retreat is to promote the love and joy of reading amongst students throughout the building. During the event, students participated in various literacy activities that included DEAR time (Drop Everything And Read), crafts, and visits from mystery guest readers. The special guest readers were students from NFA West who took the time to visit classrooms to read to students. To culminate the day’s events, all students K-8 were able to select a free book.
