Fourth Grade Horizon's Scholars Visit the New York State Museum in Albany
Scholars learned about the amazing rocks and minerals that are all around us in New York State during various hand-on experiences. They also learned more about the Haudenosaunee (six Native American nations who are more commonly known as the Iroquois Confederacy), and were encouraged to work with different artifacts and explore what a traditional longhouse would have looked like.
ATTENTION: Are your scholars or colleagues doing something great? Please contact the district Communications Team at communications@necsd.net. We’d love to visit your class or event and/or post your pictures and recap to highlight the amazing accomplishments throughout our district!
