The Liberty Partnership Program - Registration Available
Providing in-school, afterschool, and summer enrichment programs to middle and high school students in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. The Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) is a state grant hosted by SUNY Orange in collaboration with The Newburgh Enlarged City School District and Newburgh community agencies including The Boys and Girls Club of Newburgh.
A NYSED grant funded initiative, Liberty Partnerships Program is a comprehensive academic excellence program designed for middle and high school students. Our purpose is to ensure that the students of the Liberty Partnerships Program graduate from high school and enter post-secondary education and the workforce as highly competent and compassionate young adults.
The SUNY Orange Liberty Partnerships Program offers the following:
- After-school programs at our Newburgh campus for Heritage and South Middle School students
- In-school case management focused on workforce development and college exploration for NFA Main and North High School students
- In-school academic intervention services for select students at South Middle School
- A 2-4 week academic-driven Summer Enrichment program for Heritage and South Middle School students, as well as NFA Main and North High School students
All applicants and a parent/guardian are required to attend at least one LPP information session upon applying for the after school and summer program components.
