NFA Scholars Volunteer for Historical Society in Anticipation of Annual Tour
Scholars from Newburgh Free Academy volunteered at the Crawford House with the Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands in anticipation of the annual Candelight Tour that was held on Sunday, December 8, 2019. Scholars took time out of their weekend to decorate the historical landmark with their teacher Mrs. Ginny McCurdy. They were encouraged by their NFA Main Social Studies teachers to volunteer in order to satisfy their community service hours requirement. Their hard work was much appreciated by the Historical Society.
