Kindergarten Selection Tours - Choosing the Right Path for your Scholars
Kindergarten Selection Steps & Important Dates

| February 11th | Kindergarten Choice Sheets distributed to all UPK Sites to be distributed |
| February 13th | Kindergarten enrollment begins families choose their top 4 choices and are selected by lottery for Kindergarten at NECSD. Siblings of students already enrolled in a particular school have preference to that building. |
| February 24th | Choice Sheets collected by Registration/Welcome Center |
| March 6th | Kindergarten enrollment ends |
| April 13th | Lottery Information presented to Cabinet |
| April / May | Notification letters sent to parents |

Special Programs:
Unlimited Horizons at Horizons-on-the-Hudson
Students who excel in all academic areas and who achieve above and beyond the levels of their peers are candidates for Unlimited Horizons. Unlimited Horizons students have self-motivation, leadership ability, and the potential for exceptional intellectual and creative output.
Dual Language Program
The Dual Language Program will again be offered at NECSD. The programs allows students to learn while immersed in two languages. Only available at certain schools.
