Temple Hill’s Honor Society Donates 2,000 Pounds of Food
Temple Hill Academy’s National Junior Honor Society sponsored THA’s annual Holiday Food Drive, collecting 2,000 lbs of non-perishable food to help feed local families. NJHS members are dedicated to community service and collected over 85 bags of food for Saint Mary’s Hope Food Pantry. This initiative filled Saint Mary’s Food Pantry with enough left over to donate 690 pounds of food to the pantry at Saint Francis. This was a collaborative effort; teachers, students, custodians, security, office staff, and administration all worked together to collect more donations than we ever have in THA history.
Advisors Lina Lynch and Caroline Schwind also credit Hannaford of New Windsor and Walden for donating the reusable bags and Home Depot for transporting all of the goods!
When we work together, great things happen.
