Newburgh Free Academy West Campus Celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month
Newburgh Free Academy West Campus celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month on Friday. At the beginning of the day, students carried flags that represent Hispanic heritage. One student dressed in authentic attire and performed for her peers. At lunch, student DJs played music from Hispanic artists and students danced traditional dances. Faculty and staff wore homemade t-shirts with various flags representing various Hispanic countries.
