Fire Prevention Week Begins

This week is Fire Prevention Week. The New Windsor Fire Department visited our Extended School Year Program this summer to discuss fire safety. Assistant Chief Mike Saylor and firefighter Rey Robledo gave scholars a tour of the fire truck, talked about their gear and uniforms, and discussed general fire safety with our scholars.

Fire Prevention week began on October 6th this year. Stay tuned for more fire prevention activities that will be coordinated throughout the district this week.
