Vails Gate STEAM Academy Principal Receives Civilian Award from New Windsor Police Department

Mrs. Ciria Briscoe-Perez, principal of Vails Gate STEAM Academy received a New Windsor Police Department Civilian Award earlier this month. On Wednesday, May 15, 2019, the Town of New Windsor Police Department held their annual awards ceremony. Officers and civilians who exceeded expectations in a variety of ways were recognized. Mrs. Briscoe-Perez was given the award by Chief Robert Doss in recognition of her work at Vails Gate STEAM Academy.

Senator James Skoufis and Assembylman Colin Schmitt were in attendance to recognize and celebrate the honorees.

Mrs. Briscoe-Perez was joined by her husband, son, sister, and brother-in-law.
