Balmville Scholars Visit Marist College

Balmville ENL scholars had the opportunity to visit Marist for the 3rd time in three years starting at third grade. This visit is their second college visit this year. (SUNY New Paltz was hosted earlier this year.) Balmville students took a campus tour to learn about the college or university's facilities, as well as student life, culture on campus, academics, and programs offered by the institution. This tour also demonstrated what academic opportunities were available giving scholars areas to think about while starting to plan their futures.

Marist students hosted scholars both in the classroom and for lunch. ENL teachers Veronica Valle & Danielle Nelson continue to lead their scholars towards opportunities beyond Academy Field. We thank Marist College for providing our students with this amazing experience!
