NFA Main Hosts Third Blood Drive
Newburgh Free Academy Main campus estimate 125 donors during their third blood drive of the year. Mark your calendar for their fourth and final blood drive, scheduled for Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 8:30am - 1:00pm. Students who are 16 years old need a permission slip signed by their parents. Students older than 16, faculty, staff, and community members are all welcome to donate.
High school seniors Marissa Sheehan and Brandon Rein serve as captains for the NFA Blood Drive team.
Ms. Michele McKnight and Mr. Rich Anderson have been advisers for the Blood Drive for the past 9 years. The foundation for the Blood Drive began with Ms. Melissa Siegel, current teacher at Newburgh Free Academy’s West Campus. The Blood Drive acts as a way for students to collaborate as a team to organize the event and give back to the community in a very important and meaningful way.
