NFA PTECH Scholars Meet with Mentors

Scholars from Newburgh Free Academy PTECH (formerly Excelsior Academy) took time to meet with their mentors for the last full group mentor event before the scholars graduate in June. Scholars and mentors discussed future plans and continued conversations that they've developed throughout their time working together. Mentors are professionals in the local community who work in the field of computer science. 

Newburgh Free Academy PTECH has a partnership with IBM and SUNY Orange. Last year, the 17 scholars from the inaugural class graduated with their associates degree and their high school diploma at the same time, at no cost to our scholars.
