School Counselors and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Attend Talk at Mount St. Mary College

Ms. Angela Boone, school counselor at Meadow Hill GEMS School and mentee Ms. La'Shawn Martinez, school counselor at New Windsor Elementary School, along with other support personnel from NECSD attended the CARD Conference on Friday, October 12, 2018. It was Restorative Justice: Dismantling the School-to-Prison Pipeline, sponsored by Mount Saint Mary College and the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. It was an informative and powerful evening culminating with Anna Deveare Smith's presentation of her Notes From The Field.
