Scholars Continue to Receive Chromebooks as Part of District's One to One Device Program
Scholars in Mrs. Schneeweiss’ 10th grade English class received new Chromebooks with the help of Mr. Matthew Decker, Instructional Technology Facilitator (ITF) at Newburgh Free Academy’s Main campus. Scholars learned to sign into the Google classroom that was set up by Mrs. Schneeweis and began their lesson. They were able to view the lesson on the Promethean board and on their devices, allowing them to participate in the class more thoroughly.
All scholars in grades 3-10 received Chromebooks as part of the one to one device initiative. In the upcoming weeks, some scholars will begin bringing their devices home to continue their learning outside of the classroom. Scholars in grades 11-12 are able to bring their own device to school and also have access to devices as needed.
